Burford School wanted to create a Sixth Form Common Room that reflected the high standards of the school, and created a fresh, welcoming space for their students to relax, study and eat. The room consisted of 2 zones; one for eating and collaborative study, the other to provide modular soft seating in a comfortable break out space. The soft seating was upholstered in hard wearing, good looking vinyl, with a mixture of high back seating and stools to create an open and relaxed feel.
By combining the high, poseur tables with standard height tables, we created a relaxed, contemporary feel in the space, offering students different seating options
